Tabletop powder filler selection points
A tabletop filler should be specified around the real operator process. The machine may dose accurately, but the final result is affected by how the pack is presented, whether product builds around the nozzle and whether the powder settles after filling.
For powders that are dusty, sticky, aerated or prone to bridging, the hopper, agitation and fill nozzle should be reviewed before purchase. A small product sample can help confirm the practical machine route.
| Specification detail | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Pack opening | Small jar mouths or pouch openings can limit nozzle size and filling speed. |
| Cleaning access | Important for foods, powders with colour changes or products with allergen controls. |
| Fill initiation | Foot pedal, timer or sensor control affects operator rhythm and consistency. |
| Powder feeding | A small hopper may be fine for trials, while production may need easier refilling or upstream feeding. |
