Chemical powder filling specification points
A chemical powder filler should never be chosen on fill weight alone. Product safety data, dust risk, flow behaviour, cleaning approach and operator handling all influence the right route.
Where powders are abrasive, hygroscopic or corrosive, the hopper, screw, weighing surfaces and seals should be reviewed in detail. For powders that create dust clouds, containment and extraction should be considered before line layout is fixed.
